Chem and Lube's Food Grade Line

FOOD GRADE PRODUCT PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Econo Safe Many companies will benefit with a lubricant that provides H-1 protection and good lubricating qualities at a reasonable price. ECONO - SAFE is recommended for medium to fast speeds, light loads and moderate temperature ranges. This product, under these conditions will provide excellent protection at a reasonable price.

Safe - No Freeze In providing a complete selection of lubricating products for the Food Processing Industry Chem and Lube adds to its line a product designed for the Frozen Food Industry. Safe - No Freeze meets the H-1 standards with a product, which can be used in sub-freezing temperatures. Using a synthetic fluid Safe - No Freeze has a pour point of -90° F and is ideal for conveyers, slides and hinges that operate in below freezing areas.

Safe Non-Melt It is not unusual for the food industry to require grease that will perform in higher temperatures. Traditional H-1 products will separate with the oil escaping and the thickener turning hard. SAFE NON-MELT is a true non-melt product, performing in higher temperature conditions. It is also recommended for heavily loaded, slow turning bearings.

Safe/PTFE To our top performing SAFE aluminum complex we are adding PTFE, a Teflon additive, which reduces surface tension and increases boundary lubrication. This has been attributed to reduced energy costs due to reduced drag. In many high energy- consuming operations, it is possible to reduce overall operating cost with this technology.

Safe
FOOD GRADE ALUMINUM COMPLEX EXTREME PRESSURE GREASE
Chem and Lube's Safe is a white, non-toxic, USDA H-1 category grease for the lubrication of machinery used to produce, process, package and/or transport food, beverage, and pharmaceuticals where incidental contact with the product may occur. All the components in Safe are in accordance with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulation 21 CFR 178.3570 and is acceptable as a lubricant with incidental food contact by the USDA for use in official establishments operating under the Federal Meat and Poultry Products Inspection Program.
Applications:
Industrial plain (sliding motion-journal, sleeve, guide) and anti-friction or rolling contact (ball, roller, needle) type bearings: Grease-lubricated gears and couplings; Cams; Slides; Pumps; Food mixers; Bottlers; Canners; Packagers; Filters; Wrappers; Tablet/Capsule Presses. The USDA inspects the Meat and Poultry processing industries. Other industries adhering to USDA regulations include: Beverage Plants, Breweries, Canneries (fruits, vegetables, seafood), Sugar and Confectionery Products, Grain Products, Bakeries, Fats and Oils, Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetic and Personal Care Products, Pet Food Products.

Air Line Oil 100
Pneumatic Tool Lubricant
Approved for use in Food Processing Facilities
Air line Oil 100 was developed specifically to meet the needs of rotary air tool lubrication. Whether hand-held or mounted, air or pneumatic tools operate at high speed and contain a variety of precision parts. Air tools derive motion from the energy produced by expanding air.

Air Line Oil 100 is formulated using special emulsifiers, adhesive agents and rust and corrosion inhibitors that will emulsify water with oil, preferentially wet metal surfaces in the presence of moisture and provide a tacky film that clings to metal surfaces resisting the washing effects of water. Air Line Oil 100 does not form the gumming, rusting and sticky emulsions that cause valves and vanes to stick and tools to wear.

Semi-Synthetic
Food Grade Gear Oil

Food Oils are water-white, non-toxic, USDA H1 lubricating oils for the lubrication of machinery used to produce, process, package and/or transport food, beverage and pharmaceuticals where incidental contact with product may occur. All the components in Food Oils are in accordance with U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulation 21 CFR 178.3570 and are authorized for use as a lubricant with incidental food contact by the USDA for use in official establishments operating under the Federal Meat and Poultry Products Inspection Program.
